Hdfc classic banking

This is HDFC Classic Banking program, In which You will get some features like lifetime free debit card, Zero MAB NON-MAINTENANCE charges, free ATM transactions and free money transfers.
To Be Eligible for this one need to maintain 1 lakh then he/she will be eligible for classic Banking, Still many gets upgrade if they just have good transactions. There is no MAB non-maintenance charges, So if you will not maintain the MAB, you will not be charged.
Also If you will upgrade and if you have good transactions in a month then it will not be downgraded.
Infact no-one gets downgrade from it, I had never seen anyone getting downgrade from classic banking.
My suggestions would be upgrade it and just maintain 1 lakh for 3 months (As this is the period where your account is under review)
So yeah there is not much Benefits but still you can upgrade it.

Actually this is my sallary account and I don't have a 6 figure sallary it's way less then it. And I never maintained a good balance on this account. And to maintain a 1L in my account I need atleast 3/4 months. And I talked with the Hdfc bank personal banker and he said it fine if I upgraded my account and not maintain it. I don't know what to do as of now.
just avail it,no harm at all,even if you don't maintain MAB & it gets downgraded to standard after few months/years,enjoy till then

I have Received Same Offer.
In netbanking top left corner CLASSIC is Written But Colour is Same.
In Mobile Banking instead of STANDARD, CLASSIC is VISIBLE.
MY Account is upgraded to CLASSIC ? Colour change does not matter ?
My Account is Savings Max.
I do not need to maintain even 25k after Upgrade to Classic ?
I was thinking to close the Account to withdraw the balance but HDFC triggered the offer at right time.
I am also getting this offer over the last six months, i am not upgrading to classic because
I already have free platinum debit card, RM,
Regalia credit card, zero imps charges,
I don't see any benefits of classic, in classic imps transaction are chargable...
So How your IMPS charges are free ?

@VISHESH_BANSAL How you got Classic Banking? Were you maintaining 1 L ?
In 2021 upgraded my Account to Max. Consistently Maintaining Sharp 25k.
I am thinking to close my Account as I need the Amount and if I withdraw without closing NMC will be deducted.
HDFC triggered the offered at right time.
My friend also got the same offer.
BOTH of us Maintaing a particular Amount Consistently as AMB and making and receiving only big transfers I.e above 50k
I have also been maintaining consistently 40K in Savings Max since July 2021 when I opened this account.

I dont know about him but it's my salary account and I maintain around 20k rest I take out for other purposes. and I have been upgraded to classic banking

for me i applied Flipkart axis i got a 16k limit 3 months before that I applied for amazon icici and I got 1.8L and i have a cibil score or 765+
