HDFC Classic upgrade

I hold a hdfc standard account now I've received an upgrade to Classic account as I've maintained 1L avg balance.
If I opt the upgrade now & I also get free platinum debit card.
Incase in future if balance is not maintained, i guess it will degraded back to standard account.
will the debit also be cancelled?

no but it will become chargeable from next year

Since How many months did you maintain 1L Balance in your account?
Salary or Normal Account?

Bcz I hold Salary account with avg AMB 90k - 1L from last 4 months I didn't get the upgrade to Classic.

I'm maintaining seven figures from the last 10 months and I don't have an upgrade. Honestly, most of the RMs are a pain that I would like to avoid. I'm happy with my savings max account and will remain so unless there is a reasonable benefit to upgrading. There's just a marginal difference in the value between SavingsMax and their premium banking accounts.

Premium account just for name sake. I have preferred banking just got Regalia Gold LTF. Even I want to avoid RMs or even banks premium account they look good only on the UI , No preferential rates or special services when you go to any branch as they commit on their websites. No time for such banking fuss.

Call your RM. He will send you a link, which is consent to upgrade. Once you approve, you will receive OTP. RM asks you to share that and account gets upgraded in a week or earlier. In case of online, its same process, but RMs assist in case of technical difficulties

True. They did upgrade me to Imperia now. The only benefit I'm extracting is free IMPS. Everything else is pretty much useless to me.
