So how should I go about this?

Start with a basic card and wait how many months before applying through the alumni program?

Yes. Get any other bank basic card, generate your credit history and then apply for this one

So i applied DCB before ending of IIT Alumni offer, but few things happened and declined by address not verified remarks

Day before yesterday, recieved a call from HDFC staff stating its a verification call for card (DCB) And i told is it LTF or paid, she said paid. I declined.
Today i got call from some bank staff and he told he verified my address during fjrts attempt and DCB is given to me as FYF not LTF, However i told that i applied during offer and it was given LTF to everyone, so see if i can get LTF.
He told 3lakh spend will give a wave off on this card and its FYF for you, however i will check again and will let you know if LTF can be made.


Applied almost 10 mo th ago


Should i consider taking it as FYF or wait for confirmation?
