I have a Savings Max Account in HDFC. Also classic banking program. As I have opened the account as Normal and later converted I have millennia card . So If I don't want the complimentary platinum card and stay at Millennia Debit , will the card attract annual charges ?

No charges under Premier Banking Programmes like Classic.

Yes it will attract annual charges. Millennia Debit card is not free with any account variant.

Obviously with savings max platinum is free mentioned in the website also

In my personal opinion millennia dc <<<< plat dc. Plus my mom has a millennia dc and our accounts are under classic family banking.

therefore we never paid a single penny towards dc annual fees. Maybe during the issuance it was a one time charge had to pay but for the last 4 years not even a single penny paid

May be your account is pretty old and have some special privilege. Millennia dc is only free in salary and some corporate account variant

I think there's no point of arguments here

Refer the above file, In their Fee& charges it is clearly mentioned that any dc is free for HNW like classic/preferred/Imperia banking customers


If u were charged any fee on ur millennia dc despite u come under above banking programs once reach out to hdfc cs

Account opened in 2020. Bro either your RM has been scamming you or you are not part of any HNW banking program.

even if you don't have any hnw program , thrn also in savings max it's free. I just confirmed with my RM right away

Means if any savings max account holder if millennia debit card for free. There is no need for banking programme. Is it right?
