Hdfc debit card upgrade

So I will be receiving a Hdfc platinum debit card as the previous one was about to expire in the next 2 months. But I wanted the Millennia Debit card so if I upgrade this debit card after receiving it will that be chargeable ?
As I am preferred HDFC customer so there are no annual charges on debit card so that's why I wanted to know.

Is there any limit on how many times can one upgrade HDFC debit card for free in a certain time frame ?

It won't be chargeable for classic/preferred/imperia customers (even if you upgrade after receiving your new dc). I don't think HDFC has explicitly mentioned an upper cap. They would probably have some safeguard in place, but you should probably be good to go multiple times within a year - just don't overdo it to start a side hustle of selling cards for scrap 🙂

Heyy I upgraded to millennia and I am able to se it in the HDFC app and net banking as well but I have not received it physically and haven't got any mail or sms regarding this as well.
How long does it take for the generated card to be delivered ?

You will get an SMS on your mobile as well with the tracking link once it's dispatched. I got it 3-4 days after it became visible in my app and was delivered a couple days later.

If one has a regular savings account with HDFC and is already paying an annual charge for a debit card, will it mean that the upgrade will lead to two debit card charges in the year of upgrade?

How did you upgrade it? Is it possible via netbanking or need to visit branch?

After how many days the upgraded card was visible in nb after applying for the upgrade?
Did you receive any confirmation sms or mail or anything?

Can I get millennia debit card upgrade (Without charge) on hdfc preferred account??? (i don't want platinum debit card) (Just upgraded normal account to Preferred Account)
I am little bit confused because they promote only platinum debit card with preferred account on every advertisement.

Hey I have the same issue, I submit my upgrade but nothing shows up on the app or net banking, can you please confirm if you got the new card and how much you were charged
