Today saw a post on x ,op said hdfc gave him limit enhancement today, so just tried my luck and got a 25% L.E on 116000 limit. Check yours and tell below.
Maybe this is an early Diwali gift from hdfc 😛. Also Got this on my Rupay which just got converted from Mastercard few days back.

I'm having the same issue. Hdfc has never given me any LE. Last time I sent them my documents and form to the nearest branch and got a LE. Will have to do the same again, this was done 10 months ago.

I've heard they do CIBIL hit you apply for LE via hard copy form?
Is that tru?

How is this LE works on cards with floating limit. I have neu infinity, swiggy and freedom cards. Swiggy and freedom are least used. I got le from 1.77 to 2.21 on Swiggy cc. But it's not reflecting in other cards Even though they were with floating limits.

The limit will be merged in a day or 2. I have the same stack of cards as urs (except Tata neu plus instead of TNI). How was ur spend pattern? Do u have HDFC savings account. Getting no LE inspite of regular usage of swiggy card.

Opened savings account last year to get cc approved.

TNI- nearly 15k spends per month. only upi.
Swiggy - used two times only. Less than 5k since issued.
Freedom- not used much.

Yes they do.

Once I requested for LE by sending documents to Chennai office n thru mail . They increased the limit without any cibil Enquiry.

For me, there was a cibil hit in Feb 2025.

As its been 10 months now, planning to resend my documents and form for LE manually after Diwali. Let's see if there's a cibil hit. I was offered Infinia by the bank recently without asking. Else for LE I've to ask them.

You should definitely try manually if cibil hit is not a problem for you. 6 years is a long time, worth giving a shot.

I have 1 in Aug, 2 in Sep and 1 in Oct .. total 6 in last 6 months

how old is your credit profile..
a few more is okay generally speakig and it also depends on which bank cc applying for

SBI actually did that with me 9-10 months back in CB card (only one I have from SBI). 1.5 to 1 lakh
They also removed Limit increase option
Only recently got the option back, and increased the limit by Anumati linking back to 1.5L

Thought they had taken me out of overlevearge. But they rejected PhonePe Select application today.

Oldest active card if 2014.. had my first card around 2009, but had closed that long back
