Can self employed professionals get a business credit card from HDFC?

best strategy imo is this:

1. apply for msme/udyog registration online
2. get hdfc current activ account against that by going to branch
3. fund it and wait for a pre-approved offer

otherwise you can apply through ITR-4 as well.

Thanks. I already have the Infinia - would HDFC allow me to keep Infinia and this one (if I manage to get it)?

It would be good for tax payments.

Even I have Infinia for now not looking to apply instantly but I could be interested in the future to apply for one of these cc.

There's a cap of 7500 per statement cycle for all 5X transactions (taxes, smartbuy, etc). I guess it applies to Apple products as well.

I hope you are right - the illustration mentions annual saving of 90,000 for smart buy - perhaps another 7500 cap for Smartbuy transactions - total 15,000 which is similar to Infinia. Obviously, Infinia does not give rewards to Govt payments and this business card excludes spends on education. Other exclusions are similar.

My main concern is on tax payments. If I spend 1 lakh on advance tax, will I get only 7500 points total? Or will I get 7500 points for first 45000 and normal 1x on balance 55000? Major concern this one. If this gets cleared, this card will become an instant favourite with businessmen.

There is HDFC bank gateway available on incomtax portal to make payments via cc. It will definitely accept

Correct. If you go through the product page, it's clearly mentioned.
