Similar kind of LE in 1 year for me too (and > 20x in 8 years), but with an usage pattern of all sorts: regular (but moderate) usage, irregular usage, no usage for months together, and so on. And no ITR was ever submitted.

So, interpret it however you may wish, you may never enter HDFC's mind! The following mantra might work just as well for you as any:

" Eenie Meenie Miney Moe
Please, mujhe LE de do "

Of course, HDFC may counter with:

" If he hollers, let him go ".

So, with HDFC, do be prepared for anything at all! 🙂.
