Weird thing happened today. On 1st April i paid 5000 CC bill via Cheq app and the same was credited to my Millenia CC twice on 4th April. So basically I gave 5k to cheq and they deposited 10k to my CC.

HDFC will soon reverse the extra payment.

Last year same happened with me and amount was around 10k but HDFC reversed that extra Credit.

Did you also paid through a third party app or hdfc net banking? For me since it's an Online transfer from Cheq, unless Cheq requests HDFC for reversal (when they find out) don't think HDFC itself can reverse since it's not their money.

Check Payment Reference Number in Statement for both txns.
It shall be same.

Same has happened on my cc too for the payment i did on 31st . I think it will be reversed.

For me also happened same but reference number and date is same, so duplicate payment credit will be reversed soon.

But also received the same return text for other payment I did which wasnt showing double. Mycards is not opening. Today is the due date.
