Hdfc multiple add-on on multiple card types not allowed

I have both infinia on visa & neu infinity on rupay, recently went to hdfc branch, filled add-on card request for wife on both cards and asked them to courier it, executive told me add-on is allowed only one card so asked me to choose for which either infinia or neu I wanted to submit the documents. Just wanted to confirm if this is really the case, felt weird since the cards are different & from different provider - visa vs rupay.
Is anyone aware of this limit?

That's absurd ,
My GF has both my DCB and Tata Neu Infinity Add on as we speak

Though she's an account holder ,so it was much easier to get add on's for her

My advice is do 1 by 1 instead of together

Not true. My wife has addons for both Tata neu and infinia
