HDFC non-Maintenace charges for incomplete Kyc account

I have started online application for hdfc digi save youth acc on 22 feb. But Kyc got reject as I was in diff location from adhaar. I have completed kyc in branch after 2 months. Now I was charged non- maintenance charges(700/-) for the 2 months that I didn't completed my kyc. I have called customer care they told acc was opened on 22 feb and balance should be maintained from that date. I thought I have to maintain only after doing kyc. Will mailing customer make them reverse charges ? What Should I do?

Try sending an email to Grievance.Redressal@hdfcbank.com, explaining all the details, and requesting a refund. Chances are low, but still worth a try.

Update: MAB charges reversed considering this is first time and for valid reason.
