So you actually dont know for sure ,whether there was a cibil hit or not for this application..

Here in this particualr case we wanted to know if the application process has kicke off or not by looking at cibil enquiry...
Nothing to do with cibil enquiry's affect on the cibil score, in this particular case..

Ab to aisi jagah agaye, ki ek do cibil enquiry se score mein kuchh fark nahi padta.

Close to 20 but first time not having confidence with HDFC approving my Ultimo application lol.
Such is the situation of uncertainty now a days otherwise in past at-least with HDFC there were hardly any doubts of getting card applications rejected by the bank.

I am also feeling the same.. if a decision is not made by today or tomorrow means they dont want to give it to me

When I'm trying to check the application status thru the link came in sms/email, it says "system maintenance in progress" from Saturday. 😕

My card got approved. Got an email half an hour ago. No CIBIL enquiry.

Mine in the queue then, though no fixed pattern or consistency with CIBIL check. Few members managed to escape the CIBIL check, god knows what basis bank is deciding !!

One funny thing to observe: -

SBI's Over-leveraged criteria for rejections has pushed many of us to give some thought for applying HDFC variant but then this FYF offer just gave a boost to the thought and forced many to just apply for this card irrespective of low benefits (compare to SBI), CIBIL checks etc lol.

My Ultimo Card application got rejected with the following reason - "Existing card repayment track is not in line with Bank's internal policy guidelines"

I have diners club black with 7 lakhs limit & never missed payment.
