I have pixel play dual (Visa + Rupay) card

1. How to place closure request for pixel cards?
2. If I want to close only visa and keep rupay. Is it possible to do it?

If you want to keep Rupay then don't do anything, because both are lifetime free

But will visa and rupay get reported saperatly to cibil or as single? Wanted to reduce leverage in cibil

I had hdfc card. Payzapp started showing banner. So applied through that banner. It asked basic details and asked to split limit from exisitng card. That's it card got issued immediately.

Try to get Jupiter CSB / Kiwi / or Tata Neu- Infinity or Pixel Rupay (1%cb).

Place request via HDFC Credit Card escalation email or priority redressal email.

Mention all your conditions if they can cater to all then only they shall proceed. If accepted you will be holding Rupay only.


In case you decide to close both, make sure to get the limit transferred to pixel is re initiated.

p.s.: Its HDFC may ask you to send closure form to Chennai office

suggestion, I tried same for another HDFC core card closure.

There also I got the second via limit split.

They asked me to send form to Chennai office but later accepted email as closure, Card closed and I lost the limit but that email helped me to get the limit which was splitted on issuance of second card.

No it won't get re insted.
You will loose it. But you can drop mail to grievance team to increase limit of your original card back to what it was
