HDFC Preferred savings account

Currently I have HDFC regular savings account. I maintained more than 2L all the time. I want to upgrade it to Preferred account.
After upgradation to Preferred account, do I need to maintain 2L AMB all the time?

Yes contact RM and fill the form.. beware they will say to open new account don't fall for it...

For me also they said like that only... Its not available online.


For me RM took Xerox and i filled...so go and ask again or ask manager.. online also they will not help, they will say to contact branch...

Raise an email to grievance.redressal@hdfcbank.com
State that you want to convert your Existing account from Regular to Savings Max (They will frwd your query to branch)

Until your branch doesn't convert don't close the case/complaint

It's for my mother for getting regalia cc in future.

Can you please tell me the benefits of this preferred category. Do they improve the chance of getting a premium credit card?

I won't be maintained huge amount. I personally have a salary account with HDFC planning to link that with my Mom preferred account so that mab doesn't need to be maintained.
