HDFC Regalia - No Upgrade offers

Hi Guys,

Holding LTF Regalia for about 3 years now with approx. 5 Lacs limit and good spends. But never got any offers to upgrade the card in this time. Customer care doesn't help. Was thinking of requesting closure to see if they offer the upgade but don't want to take a risk as got ~50k points on it.

Any suggestions on how to go about it?

With 5lac limit and decent spending you can send upgrade form to Chennai office they will provide dcb i guess

Agreed, this is the best approach.
Fill in the upgrade form and send it to Chennai office and also send a request for upgrade through an email.
Otherwise as a last resort you can try sending in cancellation request for retention offer, which can be a double edged sword in case they accept your request without giving any proper retention offer.

I am looking for Infinia.. in 2021 and 2020, HDFC upgraded a lot of Regalia customers to Infinia LTF. While my friend got the upgrade, I didn't given less Card age at that time.

Btw, I don't want DCB as don't find it worth it coz of less acceptance. Plus, Infinia has better value on Smartbuy portal.

You wont be getting an Infinia upgrade with your existing credit limit.
But DCB there is a good chance of getting it.

Send an email to grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com mentioning your limit and good spends and ask for an upgrade to DCB. They will give you a form. Fill and sign it and then send it in email. They will ask you for mailing it to their office but just send the form and income proof in email.

I followed the same method and got the upgraded card in a week or so.

Just one quick question, can we have 2 hdfc credit cards? Because I have millennia card and I applied for regalia separately with card to card basis, but got rejected. No reason stated.

You cannot have 2 core hdfc cards. You can have co-branded cards though like tata neu along with Millenia.

You cannot have 2 core hdfc cards. You can have co-branded cards though like tata neu along with Millenia.

Can I have a core HDFC card ? Right now i have Shopper stop card from last year. They neither gave an offer to le nor card upgrade for Shopper stop.
