HDFC RM baited me to get Regalia[With FEE] saying it as LTF

I asked my HDFC RM for unconditional LTF card, she offer Regalia as LTF
Once I got he card, i tried to confirm with customer care (they said, it was with fee)

I have not activated this card.

How I do proceed?
I plan to call my RM about it.
I wanted to know more about RBI rule that you can't be charged for a card that you have not activated

Ask RM what she says, ho sake to do-char suna dena usko with some RBI dhamki that she did fraud, dobara kabhi call nahi karegi uske targets complete karne ke liye. You got a chance if you receive repeated calls for insurance & all.
And don't activate it. You won't be charged

May I know what can they do with that RM at Max if he did this?

Customer care is useless. Talk to her directly and make sure she makes it LTF (She has more powers than customer care). Get the same in writing as well.

Escalate to above email id and HDFC branch if you have proof.

The charge is applied on your card once its activated, so if you don't activate it , then there's nothing to worry. You should contact your RM and ask them to convert to LTF otherwise tell them that you wont activate the card.

I talked to RM (my RM was changed) again.
Apparently, My Regalia card will be showed as a "fee card" (so the customer care person told it was a fee card), but will be converted to LTF in 3 months.
I asked my RM to send this in writing (haven't got the mail yet)
I mailed grievance.redressalcc@hdfcbank.com about LTF status of my card. (not replied yet)
