Hdfc salary credit not recognised

Hi,

I have monthly salary credit from my employer as IMPS without narration.

HDFC doesn't seem to recognise it and keeps sending me emails to bring back the salary credits.

Is it because of IMPS transaction from my employers end? Will NEFT without any narration be considered as salary or should there be 'salary' in the narration?

Usually salary credits mention as such in the transaction. I get my salary credited narrated as company-salary-month-year

it should be salary narration, check with ur company HR department or finance department and ask them make requested changes or send response to bank. it happens to all ur employees, so HR definitely will ask bank about that.
