Do you know how much rewards we get if we buy Amazon GV using Amazon Pay CC?
This was 2.5% + GST for Amazon Shopping Voucher

IShop does not impose any additional charges. Consequently, I have changed my gift voucher purchasing from HDFC DCB METAL and BIZ BLACK to ICICI TIMES BLACK.

For Infinia, it still makes sense, but for DCB, 5.9% will not make much sense. Could get 5% via SBI cashback itself

Yeah, Atlas looks better to me as well.
The use of Atlas is either Accor or Marriott via ITC (Which doesn't make as much as sense as Accor due to 10k capping of MB transfer from ITC)
Only thing is that Infinia & DCB provide a flexibility which no other card in the market can
Which is book any flight or hotel at 1:1, many will argue that prices are inflated, but actually not. The processing charge is shown upfront for hotels therefore seems more on SB at first, plus you can't apply any coupons or bank offers so that's it.

Earlier it was 354 convenience charges for 10000 now its 413.
They are killing their own cards now (DCB and BIZ Black particularly).

Why are you saying the opposite? The Indian govt is indirectly promoting Visa/Mastercard.
Due to Trump's tariff war, the Indian govt has set RuPay cards MDR to zero.
As a result, private banks are promoting Visa/Mastercard more.
Now, last month this issue is openly making it to the news and most banks will further promote Visa/Mastercard.
They probably want people to buy other vouchers from SB apart from just Amazon/Flipkart. AGVs are accepted by many apps and people don’t bother buying other vouchers.
It seems with the passage of time the allure of straight cashback cards/begginer cards shall come back the way limits are being capped and convenience charges are increased day by day. This holds true for all those who don’t hold top 5 cards in the market.
Flipkart also now increased to 3.5% + GST
Doesn't seem so. Still showing 2.95% for me
