Amazon pay and Amazon.in both gets 5%
If only Amazon or Amazon gift card then no cashback.

Tried purchasing AGV from Amazon today using Swiggy Cc there was no merchant name, no amount on the OTP page, merchant name in statement is showing as - "Amazon Gift Card Mum" - MCC is 5947 (asked cc) which is not eligible for cashback. Tried on other Visa/MC Cards, all give merchant names which are eligible for cashback, but specifically only transactions on swiggy are going to OTP page with no merchant name.
Not sure if this is just usual but tried at different times, still same issue.

If anyone has any knowledge about this issue, do let me know.

Mere sath bhi same hua millennia cc use Kiya tha sirf Amazon aaya transaction page & OTP me baad me Amazon gift card Mumbai aaya 😂 😂😂 500 ka loss ho gya .

Sbi cashback cc Amazon ke sabhi mcc pr 5% deta hai ya wo bhi selected merchant pr hi 5% dega . Aaj Mera sbi cashback delivery milega to bata do phle se hi nahi to me aur 500 1000 ka loss kra baithunga 😇😇🤣🤣🤣

Or I would say for HDFC Cards, GV purchases on Amazon gets tagged with 5947. Some kind of special Integration which is not affecting other Bank Cards.

Looks Like, Now they Fixed it for HDFC Swiggy Too.
A major blow to this Card.

Try mutiple times till.you get your desired Merchant Name but keep in Mind , if you do many failed txns for GV Purchases, Amazon will disable the CC Option for AGC

How u are in loss, u will still receive 5% on millennia, but not on swiggy

Til last month I was getting 5% cb on Amazon gift card .. just purchase normal gift cards not the birthday or any celebration ones from Amazon ... Before entering always check merchant name, in my case it's always Amazon or amazon.in not Amazon gc .. if it's showing Amazon gc decline the transaction and try again
