HDFC Tata Neu Card Rejected

Hi everyone,

So, long things short, I have been waiting for HDFC to increase my limit to 1.5 lakh+ to apply for Tata Neu Infinity card as it has been LTF in my account since last 3 years. Lately, I got an LE, post which I applied for Tata Neu infinity card on the app as it was LTF. It has been 2 days and now the card page says 'application has been rejected'.

Please help me know what is the course of action for this; Any piece of advice would be appreciated.

Last year, same time, I was rejected for Yes KIWI and I did reach out to them for reconsideration and got the card.

Wait for few days. They'll do home verification if needed and then approve. Otherwise you can mail grievance and ask for floater card

I am not sure, sometimes their app is also buggy and shows incorrect info and after some days, I will get card or agent call for verification.

Btw, I already hold hdfc core card and swiggy hdfc card.

contact the credit card agent at your nearest hdfc branch. they will let you know what went wrong and if possible how to make it right

I already have millennia and Swiggy hdfc with 1.5l limit. Before I have Tata neu plus which I closed few months ago... I got invite to apply again. I applied but they rejected

contact the credit card agent at your nearest hdfc branch. they will let you know what went wrong and if possible how to make it right

Oh okay. I have bever been to branch tho. Let me see if I find something that can lead me to cc agent in nearest branch

I connected with customer care and they told me that I already have hdfc regalia gold and hdfc Swiggy.
Bank have policy to give only one core card and one co-branded credit card.

Is this true. I remember I say post of multiple people where they tell that they have multiple credit card.

I can confirm based on personal exp. that it is absolutely not true. I have HDFC Freedom+Swiggy+Tata neu+.(infact HDFC themselves emailed me with the offer to get tata neu+ as floater to Swiggy card). So u can definitely get 1 core + 2 cobranded. Escalate to level 2 via email and see what they r saying.

I know people having swiggy, mariott, tata neu all at once. I am not sure why they are rejecting ours.

I have checked from hdfc portal for my application and it also says rejected. I have dropped a mail to HDFC priority redressal services team for reconsideration of the credit card citing justification of the usage of the card. @Akashn
may I know whether it was the right team or was I supposed to send this to some other team?
