Hi,
I had procured my Tata Neu Infinity CC last year in April during the "Tata Neu IPL Rewards League" time. However, last year (as compared to 2023) there wasnt any offer given to convert infinity cc to LTF based on eligible spends.
That time I felt missed out and may be should have procured the card in 2023 when it was given in LTF.
After that I had contacted the HDFC bank on email "twice" regarding requesting to consider converting the card into LTF. The second request I made was in OND quarter last year when they were giving the card LifeTime under festive offers, but I was denied both the times.
Now, for the third time, I thought to try my luck since it was the March end FY closing time. I wrote them that my annual fee is going to be levied in April and don't have any intention to continue with the card/pay the fess if not converted to LTF. Gave them clear instruction on closing the card. Also, mentioned that HDFC was recently offering this card as LTF just in the last quarter and hence you should consider converting mine too.
Fortunately, they obliged to the request and converted my card to LTF. The same was confirmed today when I called on customer care to enquire about the LTF status.
Here is a sneak peek into the email confirmation from HDFC
Please note:
I wouldn't recommend to contact Nodal/PNO directly. Better go through the hierarchy step by step and take some time in the resolution. In my case, I contacted the first level of complaint email-address, got denied and at last requested to PNO email address and finally got accepted.
You may try your luck in a similar way and there are high chances now (March end) that your paid Tata Neu cc will be converted to LTF based on the same argument.
Thanks
