HDFC User - Best Debit Card for 2025 | Which Debit Card to Apply in February 2025 | Discussion

Bhai jee ek hi question pucha tha 🤣
Canara apne aap mein bank hai toh khudk acquirer ban nahi rakha hai, which is obvious by the mail, nahi hai

BPOU mein reh gaya BOU & COU usko bhi do baar likh dete...ISP bhi reh gaya browser name, Smartphone/Computer Brand & model name....

Question kuch aur tha ans kuch aur dene lage aap wo bhi irrelevant 😬 executive ko kuch dikha hoga tabhi Acquirer BOB likha hai, I am not denying that, it's just a curiousity ki khud ka business hai hi though ab ye mat argument dena ki smooth functioning ke liye 🤣

May be CC Avenue jo Canara (BBPOU) ka agent ban ke kaam kar raha ho apna BOB ko rakh rakha hai, ya BOB agent & biller ka settlement bank ke kaam kar raha ho ya aur possibilities... On-Us (jisme agent & biller ko same BBPOU onboard kiya ho)/ Off-Us (opps) txns mein kuch alag hi scene chalta ho...

Anyway let it be
Arey Canara bank ka acquirer bank ka business itna bada nahi hai aur na saare payment gateways k sath tieup hoga.

Dusri baat, Issuer bank jada force karta hai ki payment gateways usi ka bank use kare acquirer bank k liye.

Canara bank ko goli maaro. HDFC bank ka online acquirer bank ka buiness bahut bada hai.

Tumhara ques toh yeh hoga chahiye tha ki acquirer bank me HDFC bank kyun nahi hai ? kyunki Issuer bank card me HDFC bank ka card use hua hai.

Bade Issuer banks like HDFC bank, SBI Bank etc yeh sab pe jada focus karte hai.

Par HDFC bank nahi hai toh nahi hai kya kar sakte hai ab.

HDFC User - Best Debit Card for 2025 | Which debit card to apply in February 2025:

Ok boyz and beautiful galz

For the past 2-3 weeks, I have been receiving countless messages asking where to use the HDFC Platinum debit card ?

So look, guys I have one good news and one bad news.

The bad news is that the HDFC Platinum debit card is almost useless now.

Actually, there are still some places where you can use it to get 1% rewards cashback.

For example, if you have an Airtel Payments Bank account, you can load money using the HDFC Platinum Visa Variant Debit Card and earn 1% cashback (no idea about Mastercard variant).

However, each transaction should be under ₹10,000 and you should only proceed if the Razorpay gateway shows 'Airtel Money' as the merchant name. Above 10k you will get Wallet category merchant name, which is not eligible for 1% cashback.

But I do not recommend new users to open an Airtel Payments Bank account. If you're already an existing user, you can go ahead. If anyone asks me further questions about Airtel Payments Bank, I will ignore them.

Now, let's move on to the good news.

Everyone should upgrade to the HDFC Millennia Debit Card.

Not just one but many options are available right now to use this card

Go to your HDFC app or net banking and upgrade your debit card to the HDFC Millennia Debit Card -

Now where to use ?

and pay your Credit Card bill and get 2.5% upto Rs400 cashback per month.

Merchant name - Retail CC

Option 2 - Amex or SCB credit card holders -

You guys can load money into Amazon Full KYC Wallet UPI and get 1% cashback upto ₹400. Load ₹40K and get the full ₹400 cashback.

Now, use the Amex and SCB Billdesk credit card bill payment website and pay through Amazon Wallet UPI.

Option 3 - Non-Credit Card holders -

Well, there are multiple options available for this. You can load money into Amazon Full KYC Wallet UPI, Mobikwik Full KYC Wallet UPI or Payzapp Full KYC Wallet and then make free bank transfer using Wallet UPI.

Payzapp Full KYC Wallet users can transfer money from Wallet to Bank for free with no extra charges.

Every month, load a total of ₹40K and earn ₹400 cashback.

Option 4 - Non-Credit Card holders -

Well, this is also wallet loading but here you need to load money into Ebixcash Full KYC Wallet UPI and then make free bank transfer using Wallet UPI. Load a total of ₹16K and you'll get ₹400 cashback (2.5% upto ₹400 cashback per month).

Note: Ebixcash Full KYC Wallet UPI, daily load limit is Rs5000 for Debit Card and no extra charges.

Actually, the merchant category for Ebixcash Full KYC Wallet UPI is 'Professional Services' or 'Motor Vehicle Supplies and New Parts,' which is why you get 2.5% cashback upto ₹400.

I have a separate post about Ebixcash Full KYC. Check that out and you'll understand better.

Remember, you first need to register on the Ebixcash website and complete video KYC. Only then you can register on the Ebixcash Wallet UPI app - https://www.technofino.in/community...pi-launched-5-sbi-cashback-credit-card.28876/

Note: this ₹400 cashback will be credited after 90 days.

Also remember, there is a maximum monthly cashback cap of ₹400. You cannot avail both offers together—the 1% wallet load and the 2.5% e-commerce spend.

Rs500+GST only bit for HNW Customers (Classic, Preferred & Imperia), the Debit Card will be free, as long as the customer is part of the respective program

Within a week you will get your card (Of course, it also depends on your location).

My HDFC bank account (currently in Classic program) is about to get upgraded to Imperia. I currently hold easyshop plat debit card (standard savings max one). Which debit card should I go for post upgrade of program?

1. Imperia platinum debit card (I am assuming they will provide the new ones without the easyshop branding)
2. Millenia debit card
3. Holding the current easyshop one

My priority is rewards and cashbacks/points on payments, not into lounge access or higher withdrawal limits etc.
(Ps:- is there a way to get easyshop imperia platinum card now because I despise the new designs)

For ur needs millennia suits u best but it takes 90 days to credit cashpoints

Most likely they issue newly introduced Imperia plat dc but if u still need old imperia dc try via ur RM but it's not guaranteed

So, Millennia with monthly cashback of 400 even on cc bills will be a good option IMO

Somebody said that canara setu has changed MCC codes for cc payment so there is no cashback points for cc payment even on millenia. Can't confirm if it's true or not

Yes I've tried that wallet method with Mobikwik and my Amazon pay ICICI card and got 1% CB. W.r.t. that I've 2 questions-

1. Whether Mobikwik charges anything for wallet load via CC? (I've only done it once but didn't get charged anything yet)
2. Whether 1 cashback point on millenia is equal to Re. 1 or is there any conversion thing here?
