Hdfc weird upgrade offer

I today received mail from hdfc that in special ganesh chaturti offer you are eligible to upgrade your diners black card to diners privilege.
But i think it is downgrade and not upgrade

i dont know who sets their marketing emails. I guess they do it deliberately to trap customer
