it's better u should wait for LTF they'll apply that LTF within a few days or u can also opt for FYF but u have to convert it to LTF based on spends and relationship with bank
You could wait until you get it as LTF, but Millennia is a good card to buy Amazon vouchers through Amazon app and get 5% CB and also a step closer to climb the ladder with fee waiver at 1L which is easy to achieve.
if you are getting fyf basis, i would suggest spend atleast 60K within 1st quarter and try to reach a milestone spending before your card renewal, after you get the card. Then call CC and Be polite and ask for to turn it to ltf card after 7 months. if you are an old user of another hdfc credit card i am 88% sure they will offer you LTF. just don't be cocky, don't be a beggar don't be rude or anything like that just ask nicely and genuinely sometimes the person on the other line is enough who can make your card LTF, no escalation team, superior team, nothing nada. just be humble. hope this helps 🙂
HDFC had stopped issuing new plain Moneyback cards quite some time back. Yet they saw it fit to renew mine (for the third time) recently, --- for seven more years! 🙂
