Help me on understanding Hdfc Prime Banking

Recently hdfc bank upgraded my salary account to prime salary account, for which I have no information.
I am not even sure of the benefits for having prime salary account.

While going through Hdfc bank site, they have just mentioned
-) support from advisor
-) get special rates on banking products
-) extend to family.

These were there earlier as well.

Anyone help me in understanding hdfc prime banking. Also, i wanna know if bank has right to upgrade my account without permission ( although it is still zero balance salary account so having no issues)

You can add family member ( also zero balance)
No dc fees for you and family
If tie up with hdfc ( maybe regalia gold ltf via corporate tie up )
Special intrest rate - is very subjective no benefit in substantial term
You will have Rm assigned ( call customer service to know his name & number)


You can request rm to upgrade to Classic or preferred banking.
according to your salary range

Prime is account variant

Classic and preferred would be banking program ( benefits are same )

Honestly of no use. Always busy in selling products.

What do you mean by the fact that I can get regalia gold with corporate tie up. Any list of companies do you have?

If i accept upgrade will he get new debit card ? Or else i close this one and choose any other debit card, there will be annual fee or not ? i already hold platinum so thinking to get millenia in his account.

Yes he will get new dc but if u don't active the dc it' won't replace the existing one

Also u can upgrade existing card to millniea from app itself after u are done with onboarding
Else u might get charged for millniea

for classic and above, all Dc till easyshop plat are free.
For Prime, just confirm once by sending an email ....
