Help me optimise my spends

My monthly spends are as follows
- 35k rent (regalia on billpay)
- 50k advance tax (pay quaterly using IDFC first wealth)
- ~10k UPI (on tata neu infinity - LTF)
- ~10k offline spend (axis ace)
- ~30k online spend (Amex MRCC/ SBI CB).

I planned for international trip in May, considering that I applied for axis atlas (got it approved, not yet arrived). Beside this, I will also be booking 12-15 domestic air tickets as well this year.

Also consider 3-4 lac yearly occassional spends (buying laptop etc), I am relying on SBI CB for them as of now.

Should I use Atlas for rent payment and offline spends?
Is there any further optimisations possible?
Should try to get Infinia? I am elgibile as per salary criteria but Regalia is not good enough to meet spend based criteria.

Yeah it's for RIcha YAdav's like us... I've got years to reach infinia, burgandy, Centurion levels
Even those luxury cards won't reward necessities.
Your use case is typical for many of us. Let me suggest whats the best for below spends
  1. Utilities ~ 1.6L
  2. Insurance ~ 3.3L
  3. Education ~ 1.0L
  4. Misc expenses ~ 50k
Utils - Tata Neu infinity 5% nue coins on its app, Axis ACE 5% upto 500, Axis airtel 10% upto 300, obviously sbi cb or hdfc millenia agv route.
Inusrance - Tata neu infinity 5% but some limits are there go thru tnc. sbi or hdfc millenia agv route for 5%
Education , taxes - IDFC wealth 1.5% till 30k and 2.5 later on.
Ultimate fall back card will be ICICI APay.
UPI - Tata nue infinity 1.5% --> it counts all cumulative spends so even if you spen 1rs 100 times or 100 rs 1 time you would get the same reward.

IMHO
The panch pataka pack is the best. Earn and burn of points is also easy too.
  1. SBI Cashback.
  2. Axis Ace .
  3. Tata Neu Infinity. -> neu coins are quasi cash and bigbasket to burn them.
  4. IDFC Wealth.
  5. ICICI Amazon Pay.

for the insurance part I don't think Tata neu infinity would be ideal bcoz they are mainly big transactions of about 1.5L... I don't think tata card will give 5% unlimited on such a transaction, that's why I go for APay card for that transaction....
earlier SBI CB was giving cashback on education expenses as well but since last year's heartbreak it is limited to conditional online expenses only... also SBI CB card can't be used for offers on SBI card during festive times...
I'll try to close my Classic card and apply for wealth card... hope so they provide me one on C2C

I don't know your premium limits.

But I guess if you pay directly on website you get 1.5% better than 1% of apay.

Go thru various posts of IDFC wealth CC for better understanding.

Also Amazon got Payment aggregator license, we may hope apay gateway with apay wallet in many sites.

little more explanation please.
If you do spends 4 lakhs a year , you get 40k Milestone MR points + 8 k Regular MR points + 10k Taj Gv . If you apply Mrcc card before applying plat travel card , you can redeem mr points ( earned via plat travel and Mrcc ) for apay vouchers through their 24k and 18k gold collection , giving you value of 0.39₹ per point. So you get 18.2k of apay voucher+ 10k taj Gv , on spending 4lakh

Edit - So there is a devaluation now , 1MR gives 0.33 ₹ apay gv now

The big question is whether those insurances allow amex.
Ignoring the Taj GV, is this calculation correct

18200*100/400000 = 4.55 % cashback ?

You have to check if insurance payment can be done via Amazon pay , or if the insurance portal accepts apay gift balance.

Looks like , there is a Devluation coming -Thread 'Amex gold collection devaluation' https://www.technofino.in/community/threads/amex-gold-collection-devaluation.23518/

There will be a annual fee charged, it is 5900 ... But in most cases , amex customer support waives the 50% of fee or gives 100% waiver based on spends ( like spend 1.5lakh in 90 days) .
You will have to apply Mrcc card first , then plat travel.

You can derive more value , if you do disciplined spends every month
