Hey folks,

I recently applied for an IDFC credit card as I want to use it for the railway lounge at Varanasi and New Delhi. It doesn't matter which variant I get, I get same issue.
Currently, I have the Apay (VISA), ICICI Sapphiro (MC/Amex), SBI Elite (VISA), and SBI Simplyclick (VISA) credit cards. Although I don't have the SBI Elite card with me right now, I'll be getting it in the next 6-7 days.

When I tried to apply for the IDFC credit card via C2C route using the Sapphiro card, I noticed that it is showing up as a VISA card in the application, which I don't have.

As a student, I can only apply for cards on a C2C (Card to Card) basis for now. Can someone suggest a good approach for this? Also, I'm looking for recommendations on other credit cards that I can get with my current portfolio to access railway lounges.

Select this visa card.

It will not be an issue

There is very rare chance that IDFC will demand card statement.

And that too would not be an issue since you have sapphiro only

Just make sure the limit you declare here is reflected in cibil

It's not mandatory to mention the varient you can keep it blank but you need to mention occupation company name and nmi. And idfc might do a PHYSICAL VERIFICATION at the given place.

STUDENT, How did u get those cards without itr?

How? What's the secret?
there r many ways...
Nowadays banks are rarely asking for inc docs

take a secured card and build a good credit score and profile
then wait for a pre-approved offer from your bank or apply for any card from ur end
if your banking relationship is good they can easily provide u the cc

if u r new to credit cards play this game carefully
