Adding @SSV too in the thread, pls advice.I suggest you first file a chargeback claim against Balmer Lawrie, as they should have confirmed the flight ticket status with you. If you lose the chargeback, you can then file a consumer court case offline by visiting your local or district court.
I placed an order on Blinkit and subsequently cancelled it when I realized that I had not applied coupon code for payment. I am issued a refund in the form of a coupon code whose validity is only 30 days. I was not given the option to selecting the refund payment method. I did not like this approach for 2 reasons.
- one reason is that the expiry date is only 30 days
- other reason is that if I use this coupon code, I will not be able any other coupon code. For example bank offers etc.
I have escalated the matter and I have always received a reply that they cannot change the refund method. I dont see why it cant be done. They offered options while refunding money for a damaged product. If they can do this, it is definitely possible for them to reverse the amount using original payment method. I am not liking the way Blinkit is handling the issue, the email response has been the same as though it is generated by AI. I am thinking of filing an online consumer complaint. Which would be the best portal, can you please suggest? I don't want to take the hassle of handling this offline because it needs too much of time and effort. Pls help if possible.
