Recently on 28Sep i bought a refurbished smartphn from Ovantica.com for my aunty(there family is not financially well)..cost was ~6.5k..i paid via PAYZAPP WALLET
now after a day..unknown number msg came in whatsapp..that she is from ovantica sales team..stating that the phn is not in stock..and she provide some other phones in that price range..
I didnt liked a single one from it..she tried this for nearly 4-5days..
then a call came from ovantica after 4-5 days stating the phn is really in out of stock..and they r trying to arrange a phn which i chosen..let me give them 3-5days time..i agreed..
still they couldnt..so i pinged that whatsapp number asking for refund..she said she will initiate it..
nearly 7days passed,..money didnt came..i asked again in whatsapp and called there cc..they said will call back in a day..
they called me back on 8oct stating refund is now initiated from our side..and a mail also came on 8oct stating same..(but NO reference number was provided by them)
days passed now its 18oct..till now money is not yet been reflected in PAYZAPP WALLET
i pinged that whatsapp number twice last 2days.. NO REPLY
when i call there customer care..they just play music for 20mins..and then call ends automatically..
what to do from my side now to treat this shits..
i have all sort of proofs chat mails , call record etc..which i can show
ANYONE PLEASE HELP!!
Update : 19oct i dodged the complaint on consumer forum..i took ss of the docket number and forwarded it to ovantica whatsapp the proof of filing a complaint in consumer forum and threat of fir in police station on monday..after 2hrs call came from ovantica..claiming within 1hour they will give mail of refund(with ref num) and a screenshot in whatsapp..and yes..within an hour..they provided the refund message with proper ref number and ss..and gave 48hrs max timeline excluding holidays
