Help with first HDFC cc (Regalia Gold required); no prior relationship.

azura

TF Neo
Need HDFC Regalia Gold and Tata Neu Infinity.
Location: DELHI

Tried applying online, faced several issues and CIBIl hit.
Went to apply offline through near HDFC branches (visited about 3/4). All refused to offer any credit card unless i open an account with them.
Threads here suggested me not to go for co-branded cards first so didnt ask for Neu card.
Someone please guide/help me how to get them?🙏

EDITS : Can I get on C2C basis? Which of my existing cards will be best?

Additional Info:
1. Have a lot of travel coming up next year (domestic only).
2. Have quite a few education, rent, insurance payments to be done.
3. Cc limits currently
Amex Trifecta - Total of 8L
Axis Neo - 3.75L
I have Axis flip, idfc select, indusind legend, apay ICICI, RBL shoprite along with the above with limits of 2.5L around each ( threads show that these cards don't matter)

Any other card suggestion is also welcome.

The most important point to suggest whether you're eligible for that card or able to get through various means for that card etc.

- CIBIL
- Income range

You ignored both.

Or if your requirement is through C2C, do edit the post and mention it clearly for better suggestions.

C2C can only apply through branch and you have to find good one, its upto you only. It just fills the form, attach other card image and if required statement thats it. You need to convey, fight, or explain to those 3/4 branch people and apply.

Btw, HDFC doesn't work for Rent, Education and it doesn't matter during card application actually.

- CIBIL
- Income range
@helloworld
This was my first post here. Thanks for making me aware of the missing details.
My CIBIL is 790
Income is around 12lpa.

I saw that Regalia Gold gave RPs on education payments too, along with transfer to airmiles/hotel points, hence was eyeing it.
So what other card suggestions?
I have almost nil offline spends.

Before applying to any card please make sure to go through the eligibility criteria clearly and determine if you're eligible.

Understood.
My net in hand salary becomes less than 1 lakh per month hence I stand ineligible for the card.(I am Govt salaried)

Any other card recommendations/options with similar benefits for my salary range?
Won't prefer cashback cards unless it's the only option left.
