If you buy jewellery from a good local jeweller. They generally count it as 100% value but if you sell it for cash, it's around 90-95% value of current gold price

This is really concerning. Should we be buying gold coins of someone who does not buy back their own Gold coin. Has anyone else tried selling their coin anywhere else ?

Just spoke to Mellora customer care. And they confirmed the same. No buyback policy for their gold coins. Only can exchange for other jewellery. To me it seems like a red flag. Open to others for their opinion
