These are just pointers to be taken with a pinch of salt.

I am not satisfied about the credit mix section. It says keep only those which you need. But I have read and experienced that one housing loan and a car loan will definitely help to push up the credit score as opposed to only a bunch of unsecured credit cards.

So, yes even if you may not need a housing loan, you should apply for one (though maybe for a very small amount say 5-10 lacs) and repay it properly to help push up your score.

In my opinion, one long term loan is very important if you want to see a cibil score above 800. The more long term loans you have the merrier it will be.

I have seen many veterans here who have been holding credit cards since long. It is very difficult to take the credit score above 800 if you have only credit cards being reported to your cibil profile.

Thanks!!
