How can I convert SBI SimplyClick to SBI Cashback?

I am thinking of converting simply click card to cashback card. Is there a way of doing that without applying for a new card and without a credit card enquiry?

Also, what are the important things I should consider before going ahead with this?

Best was is to apply new one. If customer care call you for limit split. Get most possible% transfered to Cashback and close simplyclick.


If they dont call for split. Call cc to sync limit across card and then close simplyclick

applying new one won't provide new limit since they do everything from start?

Its case to case basis. Some of them got new limit. Some of them got split.

But history of cashbach card say it come with very low limt if issued with fresh limit

I already have low limit on sbi simplyclick card. (40k only). This shouldn't be an issue for me.
Does sbi ever increase credit limit? I have other cards with 7L limit.

But for cashback in vhave seen people getting it with 5K 10 K limit despite holding other card of 7-8L limit

With cashback card sbi doing it intentionally.

And they do limit increase but offer based only.

Yes they do sometimes but they are not generous 😞

I applied for SBI cashback credit card now. And it got approved instantly. May i know how to check the exact limit and for virtual card?
