How often do you validate/track your CC points earned

Just sharing one more thought. It's actually a pain point for me. How do you manage all your reward points?

There are so many different reward points systems and points are spread across different places. That's one big thing I'm trying to sort out.

For bigger banks and point systems like AMEX, HDFC, Axis Edge rewards, ICICI points, etc., there are transfer partners or we can purchase some gift vouchers etc.

But there are these smaller banks like IDFC or Indusind, HSBC, DBS etc. where the reward points are too thin. They are spread across in these lesser used bank cards and to even transfer or buy a voucher, we need atleast a meaningful amount of points.

Then comes these Fintech apps or points by third parties like zillion, twid, and the likes. It's really getting messy because so many points lying in different places and spread out. Some expire but some goes unused.

Whichever app you take, there is a wallet or a point balance. If I could transfer everything to one place, that would have been awesome..

yes there should be an app which tracks all spends bills when generated + reward points
so noting discrepancies would be easy

What you explained beautifully, I faced the same issue- previously
1 2 more point, to add -
If redeeming in cash Charges like 99+GST eat many of the point earned
If don't have the use of the voucher available for redemption.

Nutshell: Haven't used/applied credit card for this much of hassle, or ignored the such offering,
" The instant discount I got is the net benefits."
Now learning new things from masters like you.

For me, apart from credit card points, every app has some point balance which is overwhelming. These apps give coins, cash, points or what not, just to retain customers and make us come back to their app for using those coins for further purchase.

HSBC and ICICI credit cards have some unused points.

But then these are the other apps with wallet, coins, points balances:

Ola coins - which can be used for next trips
Indigo bluchips -
Apollo 247 wallet balance - medicine purchase
Swiggy money
Neu coins
Hp pay wallet balance
Indian oil points - for fuel purchases, but can be redeemed only after a meaningful amount.
Jio BP happy coins - fuel
Twid pay
Zillion coins
Maharaja points
The list goes on.

Most useful ones are Amazon pay and SBI rewardz (lifesaver of everyone)
