How to add an account no with alphabets as a beneficiary?

I am trying to add a beneficiary with alphabets in account no. It is for college fees deposit. The account no Starts with 6 alphabets and then the roll no of the student (8 digits). Adding acount on Hdfc gives error "Account Number Should be numeric & without spacing". Is there any method to add such accounts? Customer care is unaware of this.

nopes, only neft/rtgs, amount is greater than 1 lakh and part payments are not allowed
