Anybody has availed this Rs 300 cashback by paying utility bills on Axis Neo Credit Card?

Can I pay the utility bill on the merchant's website/app Or via Amazon Pay? This is a 1 time welcome offer.
The other 5% off on utility bill payment offer (monthly) is very clearly mentioned that payment to be made via Amazon Pay.

Yes it should be available even now.
It should be your first ever utility bill to get 100% CB until 300.
You can pay in Amazon pay using this card and don’t save the card for your first transaction. You should be fine

Ah ok. I tried on Apay, there was a convenience charge of 25 🙁
Why not save the card is there any reason?

Someone reported that initial saving ( ie ₹2 charge) count as utility and you get ₹2 back , not ₹300 and hence as a precaution

It all depends on which MCC code it receives
Anyway let's not dig into the details, just use it as many precautions as we can and enjoy the CB. All the best

Card tokenisation will come into effect first than your actual payment.

So bank will consider 2 Rs as card tokenisation amount for the cashback and not on your actual bill payment

You can directly pay your utility bill on axis mobile app and get 300 cashback without any charges. I did the same

Axis app is wierd. I tried paying but didn't complete and tried Apay. When I went back to axis app, it said no pending bill.
