Anybody has availed this Rs 300 cashback by paying utility bills on Axis Neo Credit Card?

Can I pay the utility bill on the merchant's website/app Or via Amazon Pay? This is a 1 time welcome offer.
The other 5% off on utility bill payment offer (monthly) is very clearly mentioned that payment to be made via Amazon Pay.

For electricity bill, 5% is not applicable. But the card activation cashback is applicable.

Looks like the morning coffee has not kicked in yet (or maybe I'm just dense) but how does Axis keep track of bills paid through Amazon app? I mean if I pay my next broadband or electricity or phone bill using Amazon Pay, how does Axis give me a 5% discount? 😵

It's very simple these days. If you pay any utility bill via APay their algorithm detects this transaction and gives 5% discounts upto 150 Rs. once per month . For subsequent utility bill payments during the same month it doesn't provide any discount. The algorithms are their in their software to detect and execute all the things.

No I've not checked this month but 2 months back when I paid electricity bill using Axis NEO Card via APay it was working.
Otherwise, I mostly use Amex MRCC + APay to pay utility bills.

It works on any utility payment. I got on mobikwik and Airtel app

Cashback should be credited within 3-5 days.
Utility payments instant cashback is devalued now. Only mobile recharges work.

I have added my card to bharathnxt and they debited 1rs.
But the category is utility.
I am confused whether thefirst transaction they count as 1rs 😳
