How to Cancel a credit card after receiving it. I didn't yet activated it
I have applied for yes bank life time free credit card they have given me byoc credit card so I don't want this card . Is there any option left that I can opt from this card and their monthly and activation fees. Or do I have to pay money for this.

No. You don't need to pay unless you Activated it. Activation may also mean accessing it on mobile apps and change any settings for the credit card

Just leave it, same would get close after 30 days of card receive.

If you don't activate it, it will automatically get cancelled after 37 days. So don't even check the yes netbanking ot phonebanking now.
After 30days retention team might call. you might negotiate for a better card.

Idk but you can activate it over call, text, whatsapp, net banking, mobile banking even random popup in net/mobile banking etc. 😆So if you don't want to keep the card , you need to be very careful. 😂

Dont activate the card till 30 + 7 grace days. Within 37 days if card is not activated, as per RBI rules, bank will cancel the card & accordingly no need to pay the amount for the card
