How to change Residence Address for SCB CC without going to branch?

When I asked them about they told me get a notary signed by designated officer and attach the Residence proof and send to the chennai bank address.

As she specifically mentioned that through mail it cannot be done.Is there any better way to make it done?

you can do that online I think. may have to upload address proof. I have done it but a year back.

It’s just a 2-step online process via Help&Service section on SC Mobile or Online Banking.

Update the new address which you want to update as your Permanent Address or Office Address.

Then make this updated address as your Mailing Address.

address proof is only required to update the Residence address field. The other two addresses gets updated just basis customer declaration.

Why do you want to update the Residence Address? If your purpose is to update your mailing address, just follow the above steps.

Once mailing is updated, all new communications like statements, new cards, letters will come to the new mailing address.

Yeah I already did that I just don't want to have that address in my account as it's not available anymore.

To update the residence address field, you’ll need some kind of ID proof.

So whenever in future you have your address updated on any ID card like Aadhar, passport, DL etc then only will the Residence address be updated/changed

I have used different address to get the card as it's not accepting the city I live in. If I send them mail attaching ID proof like aadhar which has my permanent address will they update it to my residential address??
