How to check If Diners Black is LTF

Hi I got offered Diners Black under LTF using my NetBanking last year in July 2022. I want to check if it's really LTF or not. They haven't charged any joining fees till now. I have already met the spends criteria of 1.5L+ in the first 3 months but am not sure if this offer will be extended for the next years as well. I contacted grievance cell via email and they said my card has joining fees. @TechnoFino You're the expert on this. Any help would be great

Sorry to burst your bubble but this is not lifetime free card they have deliberately put an asterisk there stating LTF as long as you meet the spend criteria of 5L in a year.

Had it been a true lifetime free card they wouldn't have that * in there

Write to customer service and confirm if your card has been issued LTF/converted LTF because you have met the spend criteria if it is as per their requirement.

As far as I know that's the criteria for waiver in joining fees and 5L for annual align with 8L for renewal benefit. But yes please check with the customer care once

Just call customer service and check. they do offer LTF sometimes basis banking relationship as well.. Get a confirmation on email.

The spend of 1.5L in 3 months is for the waiver of joining fees. Once you have achieved it, in the subsequent statement you would have got a line FYF and 1 reward point under the bonus points. If it was LTF, it would have been mentioned instead of FYF.

Once you spend 5L in card anniversary year, you will not be charged for second year. It is not like they add the fee and reverse it like some other companies. DCB LTF campaign is misleading as it is conditional one. You can mail priority redressal and get it confirmed.
