How to earn reward points using Axis debit card for credit card payments

I use Axis bank burgundy debit card option for paying Onecard and earn reward points. Eg: making payment of Rs.1000/- gives 10 reward points.

I have a burgundy account but have not applied for burgundy debit card. Will go for it if the reward rate to pay axis cc bill is good.

Pay via Paytm using Debit card, you will get RS

It works 20% of the time and fails 80% of the time. You will get your money back for failures but is not a simple process and takes time and effort to check if the payment has gone through. Paytm support is now fully bot based and thus useless.

but free charge credit card bill pay charges 1.18% above a bill of 1000

Not sure about direct bill payment or the card you mentioned, but I pay using Burgundy debit card using Paytm CC bill payment option and get RP for that. Although the RP is just for 0.1% value. I use it for convenience not for RPs tbh.

Why Axis Bank has downgrade their debit cards compared to other banks.
It is better to use HDFC debit card for credit card payment.

2 points for 200 Rs spend. So 1%. If you have Magnus etc. then 5:4 conversion rate applies. Got 50 ER points for 5000 paid through Cheq.

Now CRED does not allow debit card use for CC payments below 1 L.

Cheq started deducting 0.2% processing fee (including GST) for Credit Card Bill Payments. May be its time to literally just dumb the application 😂

See when points have last been updated for debit card on the Edge rewards home screen. Sometimes there is lag of a few days with Axis. I can confirm that I have been receiving points for Cheq.
