How to get 2 Charge Card?

I have 1 charge gold card, and i am inclined in getting a 2nd Platinum charge card, however amex says that you can have only 1 charge card, however people here hav econfirmed that they have 2 charge cards, how to go about it?

I want to keep both.

I actually calculated, i can make it work, can fetch upto 357% RR on a business class ticket.

Should be, but they arent na, especially if i am flying a long journy like Mumbai to LAX.

Amex gives 1.35lk points which i transfer at 1.3x in November-December.

Which gives 175500p which i transfer to United at 87750. United is doing 88k points for 3 leg journey, of which last leg of 4hr is in economy and rest in Business.

That ticket costs 2.5lk in Swiss (the first 2 legs are of swiss business)

The cheapest option is of 1.8lk.

Even if i count the cheapest option. I am still making 2.5x the amount i pay for AMEX.

Correct me if i am wrong.

You can't apply and get 2 charge cards from Amex.

- If you want to hold 2 charge cards from Amex, 1st one you get it on application. 2nd Charge card you will get upgrade from Amex Credit Cards (MRCC, Plat Travel, Plat Reserve etc)

Yes, not worth for people who can't milk the maximum benefit. Yes it's always win for Amex as less renewal benefits. Earlier deal was breaker as 135K MR Points.

I am not doing return. (I am gonna cruise while coming back from Miami to Barcelona.)

Only 1 way, 88000miles = 176000p = 250000inr.

Extra fees is only $50 = 4200Rs.

So even with that and calculating the cheaper available business class i am getting atleast 1rs value per points post fees and charges. Which is great especially because i am paying only 70k aka 2.5x atleast.
