I had two cards applied in March due to FY end.

Myzone and Privilege.
This was the only reason, that purposefully I didn't activate the both cards.
On one card, got 200, second got 500 both in same month as you can see in ss.

Else, there is no reason to not activate any card after delivery.

Time to learn patience for reaping this rewards
Always tempted to set pin and use once I am able to see virtual card on app lol

He posted on 24th May and he seems to know technofino. It doesn't look like a coincidence to me. He must be in this group or someone from the group who knows him must have shared this trick with him. And obviously he couldn't keep it to himself.
There is a possibility that he discovered the trick by himself like the original poster did but i highly doubt it.

Do not know which Activity Banks Consider for Card Activation .

When I received Tata neu, I made the first Txn at Reliance Store even after making first txn, I am getting Messages to activate the card.

So such messages may be system generated also even your card is already activated.

Usually it's written on the sticker attached to card that what action can be considered as card activation.



HDFC just doesn't care if customer has done the transaction or not or activated card or not. They will send the email to mass and in small words write a note, "ignore if already activated" 🤪

Specially HDFC ka reading material jo card ke saath aata hai woh direct dustbin m daal deta hu.
Exams m itni books purchase nhi kari jitna reading material HDFC cards ke saath bhejta hai

And i have done pin setting on both of them. So no point in waiting for 100/200/500 voucher now. 😜😂

@RewardsAlert and others I have 3 icici ltf sapphiro cards approved recently of me and my family members and icici keep sending messages and whatsapp to activate your card in 1 month otherwise cancelled but still no offer like indusind or axis for vouchers, activation window will be closed on 15th june…i think may be icici dont offers such vouchers? Anyone has firsthand experience?

No offers sadly in ICICI.
They have abundant credit card users so they don't put any efforts to retain their users, hence no retention bonus as well!

There is a new insight that I have come across.
Apparently Standard Chartered Bank also offers a kind of Retention Offer for KYC due customers.
I was very lazy to complete the periodic KYC and they were sending notices from April, finally today they have lured me with an offer of 2k Reward points, Free money!
