I wanted it as a scanned PDF, but let it be now. HDFC is playing stupid games with me. Here's the timeline:
- I went to a branch near my home in Blr on the 29th, and the agent told me we will do it on Monday. When I told him I wanted to apply before the 31st to get the preferential LTF pricing, he gave me reasons such as: "the form doesn't exist", "my company is not listed", "I don't have the card offer online, so the application is not possible", etc.
- Talked to my HDFC RM in my home(town) branch yesterday. She told me it was not possible, as there were no pre-approved offers available on my account. Told me to wait 3-6 months since I had just closed my Swiggy card two months back, and pushed me to take cards in my mother's or father's name (HDFC Biz Grow LTF -_-).
- Went to a branch near my workplace in Blr today around 3 pm. They told me we would apply today, but they didn't have the forms. Made me wait till they printed everything. And then told me all the documents need to be couriered to the MG Road branch for the actual application. The forms they gave me were not the LTF form (N series), but the ones I had shared previously. Once I showed them the form you had shared, they told me to send it to them so they could print it. At the same time, they kept telling me "we have to log off by 5 pm, it is getting late", "it might be a paid card, we will be able to apply it on Monday only", etc etc. They kept me waiting/on call with the MG Road branch employee, his supervisor, and the personal banker from the branch near my workplace.
- Finally, I received the N series form at 4:45, but by then it was too late. I had given up. :/
- The personal banker told me that the LTF period might get extended.. Let's hope it does.
