How to get maximum amount of points for Platinum?

So, I applied for Platinum charge card. And they approved it, but i wanted to negotiate the amount of points they will give me for me to take the card.

Currently i dont see the offer or anything.

How can i negotiate the points before accepting the card and paying for it?

Will i be able to get 135k MR?

Is the Nappa dori bag still in the cards?

Call Amex CC right now and ask them to put on hold their card approval and dispatch. Because once you activate the card, there's no going back as it will be with your consent.

Will i be able to get 135k MR?

Called them, they said they can try to get the points, dont know how much.

I am gonna ask for 135k, but will settle for 125k too. lol.

They're offering 125k easily, 135k isn't being offered now I think.

Got an email inviting for 135k seems the offer is back in town - though still didn't decide to go or no.

I wanted to upgrade well in time before Q4 offer, so lost on 10k MR.Thems the breaks 🤷‍♂️

They had an offer until August 31st 2024 where in they were offering members 135k points for upgrading their cards to Plat Charge. It must be over by now, but they usually roll out that offer every 6 months or so. Might be good to wait

An upgrade could offer you 125K-135K but applying for a new card would be a hard negotiation.

It's generally the Taj Vouchers or 100K points(at max) for new cards!
