how to get pre approved regalia?

I have a hdfc preferred ac, ac is only 3 months old.
1)How can I get regalia pre approved offer & how much time will it take approximately?
Currently I am maintaining 2.5L
2) Is true that regalia ltf is issued only if we apply via income route or c2c?

Yeah. I knew all this beforehand, but as I said I had my reasons. I need your suggestion, if I close my existing card will I start getting pre approved offers again in my net banking portal? Do you know of any case where someone had been successful in obtaining better cards this way?

I have read this kind of option being discussed here but could not remember the outcome...
My personal opinion, it is a worth try definitely. It helps if you have other bank CC with good CL,( not ICICI, ) for a backup offline application, in case pre approved offers not showing up

In other words, if I were you, I would definitely do this, without a doubt..keeping the contingency plans in tact..

Thanks. First, lets see what they come up with in reply to my upgrade request. Will decide what to do from there.

I read that after 6 months of closing card we again get pre-approved offers..

How much time it took to generate the card? Any physical or office verification done?

Application got approved within few hours,
The card was genersted today morning & I was able to add it in MyCards Portal.
No physical/office verification was done.

And they have rejected and offered FYF.

Will write it down again. 👹👹
