How to increase credit limit on axis credit cards

I've had an axis flipkart for 1 or 2 years now with a 1.8L credit limit. No increases.

Prior to that I had an axis my zone for a few years which I closed last year. Never got any credit limit increase with that either.

I just got an atlas card and the limit seems to be the same 1.8L. How can I get a higher credit limit? I haven't used my axis cards much as the limit is too low for my needs. And I've only used occasionally on some sites.

I have 19.5L on infinia. Expect similar on amex platinum charge. 7.9L on icici amazon pay. 6.5L on amex platinum Travel. What's the problem with Axis and their stingy credit limit?

How can I get a decent limit increase? I need like 10L limit for the card to be useful. Thanks in advance.

Another way of increasing limit is as @0xfallup mentioned, applying for c2c based on your Infinia . They will match up CL up to 10L and then once you got the new card ask them to share your new limit across the other cards

Did they deny you LE through the conventional route? Seeing that you hold an Infinia with 19.5L limit, it shouldn't be a problem if you just use your income docs.

Axis is very simple, spend more = get more limit.

There was a wave of LE offers in the past few weeks to everyone who has been using the card frequently and achieved the spend-based milestones.
Some people even got 2.5x-3x limits.
I beg to disagree!!
I have 3 Axis cards….Flipkart/Ace/Privilege with cumulative limit of 3.25L I’ve been using more than 60% limit almost every month for the last one year & and on few occasions even exhausted it completely!!
8 months back I got limit increase of just 25k on my Flipkart card…& nothing since then!!

All the experiences shared are general basis... YMMW.

Why people are so opposed to providing salary slip/ITR. It's a simple solution, if you feel you can get higher limit.
One enquiry on CIBIL doesn't matter, if you are not getting new credit cards/loans every month.

If you're regularly paying CC dues, one CIBIL enquiry won't affect much, max 1-5 points dip for 1-2 months. That's it.
Curious as to why lots of people on this forum "fear/hesitate" so much in providing salary slips/ITR for limit increase, if you are not getting limit increase for months/years. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️
