How to pay rent with my credit card an get reward points at sametime?

Hello Guys,

So i'm paying rent with my credit card through phonepe, but i'm not getting any reward points with that. Is there any way or hack to pay rent where i also get my reward points?

Hardly any of the CC gives reward points for rent payments now
What charges are you paying in PhonePe and which card are you using to pay rent?

If you have a rent agreement, register on RedGiraffe and the charges are very low. (0.39%+gst)

The only way to get milestone is to use Milestone based CCs to get reward points/flight tickets

Amex Plat travel(return rate 8%+)
Using Mobikwik(charges 2.95%)
Effective return rate is over 5% until 4L spends

lMO Indusind rupay platinum credit card incurs no charges for rent payment. Beneficial for those who don't have amex cards.

First 1k is free every month, remaining you will be charged 2.95%
You will recieve regular rewards plus milestone benefit.

Loading first 1k per month is free
If you load 15k at once you get Rs. 50 cashback when applying century code

Plat Charge will also work, but it will be a net loss as fees is 3% and MR earn rate is 2.5% (INR value is even lesser)

Plat Travel works best due to milestone benefits and overall higher reward rate than charge card

Amex does not charge anything extra while loading wallet. Just that wallet loading charges itself are on higher side at 2.95% from Mobikwik

Whether you get rewards or not depends on the card. Some credit cards don't give reward points on wallet load. Amex cards will give and in Plat Travel it will give rewards and also count towards milestone.

And after you load, you can do whatever you want with it. You can transfer to your bank or landlords bank free of charge. Or use for UPI payments.
