HP PAY using IDFC POWER + Credit Card

Recently I got Approved IDFC Power + Credit card . So There is an Offer for 1st Transaction of 500 at HPCL Petrol bunk will get 500 Cashback . So My Query is about if i load 500 at HP Pay wallet will i am eligible for 500 CB.

Somewhere I read that CC has confirmed that card needs to be swiped for 500 welcome benefits!!

Yes I am getting rewards properly. I always scan and pay through HP pay app. This remove the doubt whether I will be getting rewards or not

Yes, I am talking about the joing benefit of 500₹. I always pay through HP pay app, there is a seperate QR code for HP pay. You will not get reward points if you pay through UPI.

Either pay through HP pay app or swipe card and get the receipt which shows HP petrol pump

I did through contactless swipe. Got 500 welcome bonus as well.

Because, pump guys are sometimes not tagging correct category, hence using hp pay for direct payment via card is a good option.

I paid directly. Not used hp pay. Surcharge was there. Normal cases I suggest this method only.

I think even if u pay through hp pay directly using card then surcharge should be there. Otherwise how it gonna be classified as fuel pump txn? That is necessary to get the bonus.

If someone load in HP Pay wallet then pay, in that case fuel surcharge won't be there but other txn charges (currently @0.85%) will be applicable. I won't suggest that for welcome bonus. For regular txn that is possibly the best thing to do.

Surcharge will be there, whether transaction is through POS or HP pay. I think surcharge is 1.18%
