Fuel payments on ICICI fastag have been disabled by default for all. You need to activate it by raising a ticket either on call or by email.

ICICI fastag customer support rejected to support this. When I called Amazon fastag customer support, they are not aware that we can use for fuel payments.
Mostly this is not going work out.
My fastag is currently mapped in hp pay app. It just shows Rs. 0.0

same experience here, emailed them today afternoon and received a reply saying contact on the dedicated toll free number..
when i tried talking to the customer rep on phone, he said that feature is disabled and we cannot enable it as of now...

I think new ICICI Amazonpay fastags can't be used for fuel payments
I was facing the same issue with my IDFC Fastag. I got it resolved through following steps.
Step 1- Activate the fastag for fuel payments, either through app or CC.
Step 2- Wait for sometime. I waited for 3-4 days coz I had mailed IDFC regarding this and they asked me to logout and login again which I did and it worked. So Log out from HP Pay and re login. And if the issue still exists mail them.

I took IDFC First Bank FASTag from Park+ more than an year ago and it's been lying with me. This month only, I purchased a car and they've issued IDBI Bank FASTag with Rs. 300 balance in it along with Rs. 200 as security deposit.
I would like to use IDFC First Bank FASTag for the convenience of using the FASTag balance for fuel purchases via HP Pay app at HPCL fuel pumps as I do have a two-wheeler as well.
If I close IDBI Bank FASTag, how will I get back security deposit? Will the Rs. 300 balance also be refunded or will it be gone?
